Since 2006, Team Up has used whatever resources it can find to serve children and families affected by trauma.
Thanks to other nonprofits, churches, businesses and individuals who believed in us, we were able to stitch together rich case management and mentoring services for the children who needed it most in our community.
But now we're on the precipice of something big. Something really, really big.
Our own space.
For the first time in our 15 years, Team Up now has its own address where our children and families can come to feel seen and safe while engaging in our current programs for the whole family. Our new address will also be the launching pad for introducing the Team Up model into other communities. As of March 2021, we’ve completed the first phase of our move, which we are calling “THIS is Team Up.” This phase included creating intentional mentoring spaces that reflected our kids as young people, trauma survivors and as members of the Team Up Family.
But there’s still a lot of work to do and we need your support to make it happen.
Each room sponsor will enjoy a plaque recognizing their business or family for 3 years, recognition at Team Up’s ribbon cutting ceremony and annual gala, as well as recognition in publications related to the new space and the campaign
Sponsorship opportunities ranging from $8,000 to $25,000
Your sponsorship will make an impact on the hopes and dreams of children and families in our community for years to come.
“I believe in the power of space making -- the way a house becomes a home, the way a church building becomes a sanctuary, the way a collection of houses becomes a neighborhood. For Team Up, this new space is much more than brick and mortar. This space is a place for young people and their families to heal, grow and thrive.”
Founder & Executive Director
“A quote by Winston Churchill summarizes the approach OFHC has towards giving: 'We make a living by what we get, we make a lifestyle by what we give.' Given Team Up Mentoring's mission is fostering generational change for families, we're honored to partner with them on their journey.”
